IM has to work in order to reach agreements between Chief Engineer and Vehicle Platform by one side and the Customer on the other side.
Application requirements → IM responsibility: customer book of requirements / CdC / EPP.
Each customer request needs to be formalized in writing from/to Key Account or TCS.
IM shall provide evaluation of technical / economic / timing aspects.
Budget (PR Management during quotation phase) → The Product Request is sent by IM to all involved PE functions: Chief/ACE (Design & testing), Application, Controls, Homologation, ATS, Cost engineering. A standard form will be used for technical / economic evaluation.
Timing plans → IM responsibility: The Integration tracking, to be shared with Customer / Platform / Engineering functions, highlights the customers activities in comparison with the approved Platform Level I. It supports the PM to keep Level I in line with Customer master timing and Vehicle Integration Level III (field test and RG vehicle fleet status).
Prototypes Delivery Plan → IM is responsible to obtain customer agreement on prototype scope of supply for each phase and to agree the relevant delivery time
Technical results → IM responsibility: To manage the communications vs. Customer relevant to of all technical reports/deliverables regarding the development projects. The management of electronics/dataset/vehicle application activities is described in a specific RASIC.
Respond to engineering related questions to the Sales dept.
Participate and bring an important contribution to the Conferences, trade Shows and Exhibitions relevant for the customer base
Ability to travel more than 55% of the time, mostly overnight, often with last minute notice.

Diesel engine experience and 2-4 years of experience with common rail fuel injection system
Knowledge of thermodynamic/combustion principles
Bachelor’s Degree from a Top 5 University in Mechanical, Electronic,
5 years of Application Engineering or Project Management experience in Heavy Duty Automotive (preferable OEMs, Tier 1 Supplier, Diesel Engine)
Project Manager Professional certification of the Project Management Institute is a plus.
